Privacy Policy

GeoForge, Inc. ("GeoForge") provides a site-selection and community-marketing platform for Economic Development Organizations. This policy explains how we handle information collected through geoforge.io and the GeoForge application.

• Account information: name, work email, organization, role, and authentication credentials.
• Customer Content: property records, community profiles, RFP responses, CRM contacts and companies, uploaded documents and imagery.
• Usage data: pages viewed, features used, referrer, IP address, browser, and device metadata.
• Communications: messages you send to support, sales, or through in-product forms.

We use information to (a) operate and secure the Service, (b) provide customer support, (c) improve features and performance, (d) send transactional email such as invitations, password resets, and share notifications, and (e) send opt-in product updates.

Some features (Studio by George, RFP Package Studio, Design Studio) send prompts and relevant Customer Content to third-party large language model providers to generate drafts. Model providers process this data only to return a response and, subject to contractual terms, do not use it to train their models. AI-generated content is not stored by model providers beyond the request.

We share information with: (a) hosting, database, storage, email, analytics, and AI subprocessors under contract; (b) integrations you enable (CRM, mail, calendar); (c) authorities when legally required. We do not sell personal information.

When you generate a public share link for a map, RFP, or property, the recipient can view the linked content until you revoke the link. Do not include information you don't want disclosed to the recipient.

We use first-party cookies and local storage for authentication and preferences (theme, session). We use privacy-respecting analytics to measure aggregate usage. We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site trackers.

Data is hosted on managed cloud infrastructure with encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access is restricted by role-based controls and audited. No system is perfectly secure; we monitor for and respond to incidents promptly.

We retain Customer Content for the life of the subscription plus 30 days for export. Backups are retained for up to 90 days. Account records are retained as required for tax and legal compliance.

You may access, export, correct, or delete Customer Content through the Service or by emailing privacy@geoforge.io. Depending on your jurisdiction (e.g., California, EU/UK), you may have additional rights including opt-out of certain processing.

GeoForge is not intended for children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

GeoForge is operated in the United States. If you access the Service from outside the US, your information will be transferred to and processed in the US under appropriate safeguards.

We will post updates to this policy here and update the effective date. Material changes will be communicated in-product or by email.
